Prescription Assistance

Prescription Assistance

Need help with getting prescriptions? Here are a few tips that can possibly help you get the prescription assistance you need.  Most, but not all grocery stores with pharmacy’s and super stores like Walmart now have some sort of cheap or FREE generic medications or program for antibiotics and other non narcotic medications and supplies. I have listed a few below that I found and as always I will add more as I find them.

Lourdes Hospital has a program called the Hope Dispensary of the Southern Tier, that offers free prescription drugs and medicines to those who need assistance. The program is to help people that have no prescription drug coverage in their insurance plan, or those who have no insurance at all, and/or a limited income. In addition Lourdes can also assist patients you with enrollment in Medicaid and other public programs. Local Hope

Hope Dispensary has an inventory of mostly commonly prescribed medications, but they will always work with you to the best of their ability to help you in any way they can, including filling your prescription with medication samples and generic medications. The Hope Dispensary of the Southern Tier is located at 477 State Street in Binghamton, which is directly across from Binghamton Plaza. 607-584-9376.
