You can also print out a Food Stamp application, get relevant contact information, and find out lots more about the Food Stamp Program.
The Food Stamp Program is not welfare! It is a Federal Program to help families and individuals, both working and unemployed to meet their food needs.Food Stamps can be used at the following places:
- Supermarkets

- Farmers’ market
Eligibility is based on income and resources in certain circumstances. You can own a car or a house and still qualify!
WIC – Women, Infants, and Children
WIC is a federal program that provides food vouchers for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and non-breastfeeding women up to six months after delivery. Infants and children up to 5 years old are also eligible. WIC vouchers are used at participating local food stores for items such as milk, cheese, eggs, juice, cereal, and infant formula. Eligibility is based on income and Nutritional risk. To apply to be a WIC participant, you will need to contact your State or local agency to set up an appointment. Check out your State’s website or call the toll-free number. When you call to set up an appointment, someone will tell you the location nearest your home and what you need to bring with you.

Your school children may be eligible for free or reduced price school lunch and breakfast every school day in all public schools. Call your children’s school to apply.
* Important: Please be sure to call the food banks to confirm that their hours have not changed. I do my best to provide you with the best current information as possible, but food banks can often change hours without notifying us. I do not want you to waste your time visiting a food bank that is not open.
